Kingussie Bowling Club

Kingussie Bowling Club is delighted to announce that they have been awarded 100% funding from SSE Hydro Fund to purchase the land and surrounding area where Kingussie Bowling Club is situated in Spey Street, Kingussie. The Bowling Club has always leased the Bowling Green from Dochfour Estate, but in 2024 the Club was offered a one-off opportunity to purchase the land rather than continue to lease it. The Bowling Club jumped at the opportunity and immediately went about applying for funding. The Club is the oldest sports Club in Kingussie and is approaching its 150 year celebrations as it was founded in 1877. The exact area available for purchase is shown on the accompanying map, and measures 70 meteres by 36 metres. The Club will announce when the legal administration is complete and the land formally belongs to Kingussie Bowling Club.
